He really does. I had been telling people that I was "craving a chocolate cake, not a piece of cake, but a chocolate cake," and he came home last night with an enormous piece of chocolate cake from a bakery called Europa, in Covington!
I also had a craving for Ruffles and the cheddar cheese dip my dad used to get and he went to the grocery store to get it for me!!
Of course this probably doesn't bode well for my waistline, but it isn't like I eat this way all the time.
Anyway, I'm not going to let this go to my head. I don't want to become the spoiled wife who grows to expect things. Instead I want to appreciate him and all he does for me. I also want to always find ways to spoil him right back. He's amazing.
Today I'm feeling great. My neck is improving...I plan to clean the house, do laundry and maybe re-wash the cloth diapers...I don't know why! I'm insane. I'd also like to organize the basement and move the bookshelf to the art studio..
We'll see. I don't plan to overdo it. However, I'm enjoying this newfound energy! It probably means I'll be having some sleepless mommy nights very soon, but I'm not going to worry about that.
5 days until my estimated due date! I know it doesn't mean she'll be here in 5 days, but it proves she'll be here soon! No more months...we're down to days and weeks. So exciting.
On a side note...completely off topic. My cat, Izzy will not drink her water until after she stirs it with her paw...I think she thinks she's Bond....James Bond. ;-)
On another side note, I think I'm officially ready for the baby. I just finished ordering the Snappi closure for the prefolds I have for my baby girl. Oh gosh, my friend had a cover made for me by her friend in England. I LOVE it. She showed me a picture....I'll take one and post it here and on my cloth diapering blog. It has cute little VW bugs on it and a pink ruffle. So darling. Can't wait to see my little girl in it. :-)
Pic of my ever-growing belly attached. Please ignore the filmy, spotty mirror. It's old...original to our circa 1934 cape cod. I know it is huge...but I'm having an "I love my baby mountain" moment! :D
