41 Weeks...

And honestly, I feel great. I'm beginning to wonder if there really is a baby in there. Lol.

Or maybe all of this goodness in my life really is a dream and I'll wake up back in Lexington in another, less happy life.

Of course that's not the case, thank goodness!

The anticipation is getting to me already and I woke up early, because I realized this will be our last day before baby...and I can't help but think about the procedure tomorrow. Yikes, I'm nervous.

Excited too though. I was able to finish up the projects I was working on, including the pregnancy momento and our wedding throw. I also got the sheets washed, vacuumed the main floor, and re-packed the hospital bag...I didn't want all of the stuff to be wrinkled, so I fluffed all of it in the dryer and re-packed it.

Today K and I are planning a nice, relaxing day before we become parents to a little one. We got a gift card to Outback for a wedding gift, so we are going to go there for dinner. They have a great new grilled salmon dish with grilled veggies that I LOVE.

Other than that, I have no idea what we'll do. We have no plans...we'll just wing it, enjoy each other, and our time alone while we have it. :-) Typing all that makes me want to go curl up with him. I think I will. My bowl of cereal with almond milk has worked its magic and I'm getting sleepy again.

Deep breath...
Today is good!

Below are pics of my early morning buddies. They always chill with me when I'm up before the birds. Drama is the little black cat and Izzy is the butterscotch cat.
