Bush trimming!

Gotta say, tackling an 8- foot tall butterfly bush with hand shears is harder with an 8 month old baby bump! lol It got a buzz cut, but will grow back and look lovely (and controlled). I also trimmed the other bushes...so the front looks better now.

Now we have to get a new mower, because T got distracted by a couple of teen girls walking up the street while mowing, hit a meter thingy in the yard, and bent the blade and jammed up the mower so that oil leaked out everywhere.

I guess it's safe to say the girl crazy phase has begun...I only wish I had gotten it on video! LOL It smoked and everything. Was hilarious, except that the mower was only about 2 weeks old.


PS....

I just saw a commercial for Toddlers and Tiaras...If my daughter even tries to be like this, I'll have cable removed from our house forever. Ugh...they are like gremlins in makeup. Why do mothers allow this crap? I understand the beauty pageant thing (sort of...not really), but makeup, fake tans and stripper-like routines? Seriously....yuck. And to think America supports this kind of shit. I try hard not to be judgmental....but damn. Sometimes you just gotta speak up and voice opinions.
