At my doctor's visit today my doc said I'm 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. She has dropped 2 cm and my cervix has moved forward, as it should for birth.
Last night was rough. Contractions, discomfort, and lofty breaks.
Right now, I'm sitting in the Kroger parking lot. We just visited the library, where walking made me feel like my bottom is falling out. I'm uncomfortable and K offered to go in the grocery store while I sit in the car. I'm so glad.
Looked like we'll have a peridot rather than a sapphire. :-) As long as she is fully ready, I am too.
Here's to relaxing and waiting.
