Guns do not kill people

Baby and I had a decent night's sleep last night, but only because I reverted back to our routine with the bassinet. She still woke up one extra time though, but I at least got a good stretch of sleep.

She seemed happier this morning and I feel less like a "Mombie."

This morning I was pretty productive. Made a bacon and onion quiche for the boys and me and got a nice shower thanks to Kathryn going down for a nap and C keeping an eye on her. I even got to blow dry my hair.

All of Facebook is on fire over the shooting yesterday. All I'm going to say is:

1. Guns do not kill people, psychos do.
2. Guns should NOT be banned.
3. My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones.
4. I hope the psycho gets a chance to be a decent person in the next life and actually takes advantage of said chance.
5. I still believe in goodness, despite the cruelty in the world.

We have the party tonight. I'm so nervous that Kathryn will scream and cry the whole time like she does when K has her at night, when she cries until I get her. If she DOES do this, I really hope L will call us. I can't stand the thought of my baby crying that long. :-(

It's really bugging me. I hope I can enjoy my first evening out with K since her birth.
