I just realized this Christmas is the last Christmas I have with C before he is officially an adult. Wow. This makes me incredibly sad because he's not a baby anymore and incredibly proud because he has grown into a wonderful young man.
I've attached his newborn picture below. It's crazy to think that just this weekend I got his senior picture.
My baby isn't a baby anymore. The little toddler who asked to be tickled is now a 17 year old. Oh, it was so cute. He'd say, "Mommy, tickle me!"
Then I'd tickle him and he'd giggle and giggle, then say, "Stop!"
I'd stop, then he'd say, "Tickle me again!"
Ha! Gosh, I miss the days when he and his brother were young. They were so much fun. I was younger and my back never hurt when I danced around the living room with them. Now it hurts when I just hold Kathryn for a while.
Speaking of that, I'm going to have to start yoga again on a regular basis to strengthen my core. I need it bad. I don't want to be in pain anymore. Yoga is nice for many reasons.
The house is all decorated for Christmas. I did it the day after Thanksgiving, as I usually do. I love the lights. I've attached pictures below. I really like the village on the mantle and the new wreath I made for this year. I didn't use hot glue on the wreath. Instead, to make it easy to change if I want, I just used ornament hooks and twisted them on well.
I love crafting.
I also love making food gifts for Christmas. This year, I'm going to give a few coffee cakes, cookies, and pies. Our neighbors are getting a tri-berry pie for sure, because they gave us lovely baby gifts!!
