In the last couple of years, I've heard the argument that sunscreen causes cancer, which leads me to ask, what doesn't cause cancer these days?
Also though, it makes me think that these people must live in the north west, where the sun shines the least, because they claim to not use Sunscreen and bad-mouth those who do. Uh...obviously they don't live where the sun can and will turn your ass into a lobster, blister you, then leave you with large peeling swaths of skin.
They claim to use coconut oil for sunscreen, even though it has a VERY low sod. Really, try that in Florida, or anywhere where Redwoods don't grow to enormous heights, and the leaves don't change color in August. I dare you.
You will be sorry and you toowill be toting your bottle of sunscreen wherever you go.
Seriously, if sunscreen caused cancer, then my papa wouldn't have melanoma, nor would any of the older generation That we call grandparents or great-grandparents. They didn't use it.
I don't think it is wise to use it so constantly that one never gets sun. We need vitamin D. However, it only takes 15 minutes of sun exposure to get a sufficient amount of vitamin D.
So, anyway...that's my penny's worth today.
Be smart.
