Today I've officially started my body "bootcamp," for lack of a better word.
I thought about weight training to help me gain a bit of muscle and therefore weight, as I am about 1 pound from an anorexic BMI.
Anyway, I've decided against weights for now and I want to focus on using only my body strength and working up to some pretty crazy arm balance poses. I'm actually excited about it.
Today I did the crane pose and was able to hold it for 12 seconds the first time and 10 the second time. This is a far cry from my 1-2 seconds of the past! Lol
I am also doing general calisthetics. I did 100 squats thanks to climbing stairs over and over with the baby! I've NEVER been able to do more than about 30. Haha!
So anyway, this is my plan for now...as I get better/stronger, I'll add more. SLOWLY and I'll have to remind myself of this as im super excited to try more balance poses.
2 sets of each; twice a day:
1-10 second crane balance pose
2- 15 second planks
50 crunches (usually wi5h baby sitting on ky belly!) Lol
10 modified push-ups
20 leg lifts
50 squats
10 one-legged squats
2-10 second side planks
Modified handstand (against wall)

Its actually a lot of fun and Kat enjoys helping too...and she "counts" along with me. Lol
