Ryn and I are up early and im going to try this every day from now on...unless my husband actually gives me the gift of sleeping in one day...because I think Ryn needs to have more wakeful hours.
I don't freaking know. Maybe other babies her age are still waking 2-3 times a night? Does it matter if they are/aren't. No. She IS and that's what matters to me.
Its all good. I think I just need to get it out of my head that she should be sleeping through the night. She will when she's ready.
I guess she'll also sleep in her own bed one day too. She slept there until 1:30am last night and woke to nurse (more to he close to me), then woke again at 3:30, and finally at 6:30. At that point, I was like, "Its morning. I have laundry to finish." So we got up.
One day I'll sleep...just in time for her to start forming more-than-friend relationships, and I'll be sleepless again. Ha!
She is eating breakfast now...which means eating a bit and throwing a bit. So, Cheerios and cheddar cheese are sprinkled on the kitchen floor as I type.
My sister is watching her for us today while I go get scratched with needles by my husband. I'm getting my tattoo. I'm a little nervous. Not because of the possible (likely) pain, but because of the unknown.
I really want to go to a pumpkin patch, or an apple orchard or something because it isnt too cold out yet. It's Autumn, even though it has heen warm like June (score!) and I want to enjoy things like this while I can...soon I'll be in a tropical climate and there will be no pumpkin patches and I'll trade apple orchards for orange and mango groves.
