So...good news: We're going to Miami Beach this year. Yay. I'm fighting the urge to add to my insane bikini collection. We are trying to be debt free and I don't want to add to the "problem," but rather be part of the solution.
It's hard. For a gal living in a land-locked state, I have a heck of a lot of bikinis.
I love them more than shoes. I
I think I'm meant to live at the beach.
I'm also resisting the urge to shop for new dresses. I love dresses almost as much as bikinis.
Spring is a hard time for me when it comes to shopping.
Anyway...Kat pulls up on a regular basis and is now beginning to walk around things, very gingerly and for only a step or two before plopping back down on her fluff butt.
She is forever interested in pulling all the books off the bookshelf and is actually doing that right this second. It's a game we play where she wins every time. ;-) I don't even care except she bites the pages and I don't want her to choke on a piece of paper.
I say "no" and "not for baby" far more now than I expected at this age.
Besides all of this, my kid is VOCAL! I mean, she Mmmmmmms when eating. She babbles while playing, and she has developed this new "cry," that is actually more of a blood-curdling scream when she wants or doesn't want something. Geez. The only time she is quiet is when she's sleeping.
I'm tired.
She's energetic.
It's a bad cocktail.
Speaking of cocktail...I could use one. lol
Cheers to mamas, one and all.
