Well, she sat up unassisted 3 weeks ago and began crawling 2 weeks ago. She just pulled up all on her own today.
The house is not baby-proofed yet and I've spent all day chasing her, saying, "no," and "not for baby." I'm exhausted.
She's napping now, but my neck is hurting so bad from rearranging the house on Thursday that I can't relax enough to join her. Besides, she's lying on me and would for sure wake up if I moved her...and I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.
My oldest is 18 today! I'm so incredibly proud of that young man. Truly, being his mom has been an absolute joy in my life. I've spent some time today sifting through pictures and reminiscing. Time truly flies. He made 3rd place at the state Skills USA competition and was awarded a $5000 scholarship.
Tristan.also got to go to state, after having gotten 1st in regionals, but he didn't place at state.
I'm so proud of them.
