The pregnancy is moving along quite nicely. I'm as big as a house...okay, maybe a studio apartment, but BIG for sure. lol
Little Kathryn is lying sideways in my belly, with her head constantly lodged in my right side. It hurts sometimes, but I like putting my hand there, knowing her little head is there. That said, I hope she turns before the big dance.
We've decided on the name Kathryn Genevieve...Kathryn after my grandma and Genevieve after K's grandma. :-) I love it.
I wonder what she will look like, who she will be, and what she will like. Will she be taller than me? Will she have her daddy's eyes or mine? Will she like hiking and kayaking like I do? Will she be a cheerleader (oh gosh...) or will she be a band kid like I was? Wonder if she'll be "preppy" or a skater kid like her daddy and I were. No matter what she wants to be, I want to help her grow to be a kind, considerate, compassionate and determined person. I want her to never be afraid to start a new path if her current path doesn't bring her joy...I want her to love herself first.
We are measuring 29 weeks, so we are right on track. I've gained 15 pounds...FIFTEEN! lol Blood pressure was good...I drank the especially horrible sweet orange crap that tastes like Crush on acid. Ugh. Hopefully I'll pass the test so I don't have to do the 3 hour one.
I should post a picture...but I've torn the house apart organizing and cleaning and I'm too tired (lazy) to get up and get my phone to upload one.
Maybe next time. For now, I'm going to enjoy the company of my two cats, watch a little Sex in the City, and consider eating a chocolate donut (my THIRD of the day). I DID have a healthy dinner of stir fried tofu, broccoli, carrots, peppers, mushrooms and peanut in chicken broth over white rice. It was super yummy...
height 5'8"
weight: 139
I've never weighed this much in my entire life. lol!
It's all good though and for a VERY good reason...
