Swim Trends of 2015: Summer is around the corner

It's like 100 below zero or something completely insane, so my thoughts and daydreams turn to spring and summer. Unlike last year, which was the only year that I wasn't in decent shape at this time, I'm super excited about swimsuit season!

I feel great. Nothing's jiggling around, involuntarily waving to people. I feel fucking fabulous and I can't wait to wear a swimsuit on the beach again.

What better place to look for swim trends than Miami Swim Week? Hello! Feast your eyes on this gorgeous high-waist option! Seriously, I'm drooling. I'd wear this tomorrow if I could. I love it. Thankfully I have a long torso and can do the sporty style top with a high waist bottom. What the...did I just speak in a positive manner about my body? I believe I did. Sweet.

Here's an option for the younger chicks out there or the very confident and perhaps rebellious older chicks as well.

I love the fringe. It works for those with a shorter torso too, because of the space between the top and bottom. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than seeing a woman with a short torso wearing something that further shortens it. Then it appears as though her breasts begin at her waist....an no woman wants her breasts at her waist.

Not the bikini type?

One-pieces will always have a prominent place on the beach. Black and white seems to be a hot trend, as well as feminine details, cut-outs, and florals.

That deep V with the dolman sleeves is to die for.

Aside from finding the perfect suit for the summer, the hottest thing you can take to the beach is your self-confidence. When you feel good about yourself, no matter your size, no matter your style, it's sexy as hell and magnetic.

Wear what you like. Wear what makes you feel good. Have fun. Be care free.

Be fiercely you!

xx,
