Potty-teaching

Potty teaching has officially begun in my house. We've been trying off and on since she was about 18 months old, but just this week she has agreed to sit on the potty for a decent duration of time. The funny thing is, she calls it "making yellow water." She came up with that on her own. Hahahaha!

My kid is nuts.

So we have cute undies to motivate her and so far the hearts are working.
She hasn't as of this time, actually used the potty though. She just sits on it, but it'll happen. I can't wait. I'm so tired of diapers and I'm very motivated to get her out of them before we move into the new house. That gives us until Jan 30th...plenty of time, as long as I'm consistent.

Consistency is difficult sometimes, especially when I'm working and distracted.
I guess the same is true for Ryn. lol

She is also making the transition to her own bed. She happily jumps in at night and falls asleep there, as long as I'm sitting next to her. In the middle of the night, or in the wee hours of morning, she comes to our bed again. I don't mind this too much, because I know it'll end. One day she'll sleep until the sun comes up. Last night she came in in the middle of the night and kicked me to death and talked incessantly. I think she eventually fell back to sleep, but honestly I'm not sure. I know I didn't get much sleep and I feel pretty crappy this morning.
