Today I have to go to the market, which I actually wasn't dreading until I found out it is supposed to be about 80 degrees and sunny today. Soooooo...my plan is to get to the market early, then take Ryn to the zoo or to a park to enjoy the beautiful day. The zoo babies are out now, so I'd love to see them...err, I mean, I'd love to take the baby to see them *wink*.
With our last two market trips, I've noticed the produce is going bad more quickly than previously. This makes me think I need to change my shopping habits for the time being. After all, produce isn't meant to last more than a few days once it is harvested. So I'm going to get as much goodness as we will need for the next 3-4 days and make another trip when that is exhausted.
I hope this helps. It breaks my heart to toss a rotten mango. I love those darned things so much.
This week I want to try a vegan dessert that is NOT apple pie. I'd like to try something chocolatey, but the idea of chocolate and veganism seems an oxymoron to me. Is it? I have no idea. This is a journey I'm on. One of discovery, mishaps, and other interesting trip-ups that make it fun.

We are taking a family trip to southern Florida this year. We are going to Ft. Lauderdale and South Beach. While I'm totally looking forward to the trip, I'm sort of dreading the drive...with the baby. Yipes. The good thing is we are planning to stop halfway to rest up, let the boys swim and chill and so the baby isn't stuck in her car seat for 17 hours. I think this will be best.
