As a mother, I strive to be sure my children are safe, provided for, and healthy.
Based on this philosophy, in my opinion, this means that I probably shouldn't be buying food in the big supermarkets.
I've always been interested in the food industry...ever since reading The Jungle by Upton Sinclair years ago.
Since then, I have watched a few documentaries about modern food processing. I also researched GMOs in college.
My conclusion is that the government is 100% NOT looking out for our health. They are looking out for big business.
Hillary Clinton sits on the board at Monsanto. This is a fact.
If you think about it, it all makes perfect sense.
1. We MUST eat. The food most people are eating is laden with chemicals and man-made ingredients we can't pronounce.
2. The food most people eat causes cancer, obesity, and diabetes.
3. The pharmaceutical companies make oodles of cash on prescriptions for the above mentioned diseases.
4. The pharmaceutical industry is America's top money-maker.
Coincidence?
I think not.
Our complacency is killing us!
Our apathy is destroying our habitat!
Turning away from the truth, to remain ignorant, is allowing the inhumane treatment of innocent animals!
Our ignorance is allowing the government to take away our right to eat and produce the foods we want!
Some may say I'm being paranoid. If you think this, do your own research! Make your own decisions.
Don't sit stupidly idle and act like it isn't your problem!
Don't use the Bible (dominion over the animals) as your defense to allow animals to be tortured and killed. That's bullshit.
We have to be aware. We are so far removed from nature that we are destroying ourselves and killing mother Earth. How will my children live in the future? Will they not be allowed to grow their own veggies?
All the food issues we've had come from factory production.
We must stand up to this.
REED fits here too.
RESEARCH to...
EDUCATE yourself to...
EMPOWER yourself in order to..
DISCUSS!!!
and I'll add this to it...
To DECIDE for yourself.
Don't live as a dumbass, in ignorant bliss.
It's simply irresponsible.
