It's 5:15am. After an hour-long battle, I gave in to the toddler dictatorship and brought the gal downstairs where she is now happily employed with removing all the pans from the cabinet, while I clutch to my coffee (with soy eggnog as creamer) as though the beating of my heart depends on it.
It was a rough morning to say the least. My daughter and I differ in one critical co-sleeping area: I'm ALWAYS cold and she despises blankets. It makes it really hard for me to sleep when I have no blankets covering my arms. I've tried every possible position, but if the blankets come in contact with her feet or legs, she kicks and pulls until they are off...of both of us.
So I'm tired this morning. I'll be okay once I have some coffee though, plus I have friends coming over later to make blankets for the children's hospital, so I'll be distracted from my sleepiness.
As you can see from the unfocused pics, Kathryn is wide awake and on the go this morning. ;)
