Baby is napping...for how long? Who knows. I no longer worry about it. She is FINALLY sleeping through the night. I feel comfortable say that because she's done if for the last two weeks, after cutting 6 more teeth at once. She now has 12 teeth. She cut the first 6 in about 1.5 weeks at 9 months old and these 6 in the last couple weeks. Poor baby. I'm glad it's over.
When my baby naps, I like to unwind a bit...blog, sew, have a treat that I wouldn't ordinarily eat in front of her (like a pop tart or cookie), and sometimes I just like to sit and enjoy the silence.
I'm currently working on a quilt for a friend and loving it. I was able to get more finished than I had hoped. I keep my goals pretty humble, because I don't want to get frustrated when baby "interrupts" my progress. Yesterday I cut all the pieces. Today I started drawing the seam lines (I still do things very old-fashioned and prefer it that way) and I pieced four 9-patch blocks and got them sewn together. Woot!
This quilt may not take as long as I thought...then again, who knows.
I have 18 pounds (yes, POUNDS) of fabric being delivered today. I'm so stoked and working on washing our laundry so that I can wash the fabric this week to prep it for use. There are several designs I can't wait to get my hands on.
I think I'm a fabric whore. lol
